Day 1

Secwepemc Museum and Heritage Park

The Secwepemc Museum & Heritage Park offers an incredible look into the history and culture of the Kelowna First Nations People.  View traditional clothing and tool exhibits, an exhibit on traditional uses and preservation of plants, galleries with gorgeous displays of art, and a 5-acre Heritage Park on an archeological site with gardens and a replica Secwepemc winter home. Lunch is included.

Moccasin Trails

Travel down the gorgeous Thompson River with an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper guide of the Secwepemcuu’l’ecw (Shuswap Nation). Learn stories of the Indigenous peoples, history, and culture while surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, and landscapes.

Sun Peaks Grand Hotel & Conference Centre

Sun Peaks Resort is an Indigenous-owned resort located outside of Kamloops BC which boasts a plethora of summer and winter activities.  Hike, ski, or bike through the many trails before ending your day in the European-inspired village that offers boutiques, heated pools, and spa services. Breakfast is included.

Indigenous World Winery

Indigenous World Winery is the first 100% Indigenous-owned winery in BC (owned by the Syilx people) and offers a wide range of delicious wines from Muscats to Pinots to Cab Francs.  Experience an Indigenous wine tasting, and modern native cuisine, while enjoying stunning views of the Okanagan Valley.  Lunch is included.

Westbank First Nation: Sncewips Heritage Museum

The Sncewips Heritage Museum showcases the traditional art, culture, and history of the Sqilxw people.  They work closely with the Knowledge Keepers of the Sqilxw to create cultural awareness and preserve stories and traditions.

Kekuli Café Coffee West Kelowna

Visit the Kekuli Cafe in West Kelowna to get a taste of traditional Indigenous Cuisine with a modern twist.  They cook up all kinds of bannock creations from burgers to tacos wrapped in the traditional First Nations fried bread.
