The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre celebrates the joint history of the Squamish (Skwxu7mesh Úxumixw) and Lil’wat (L’il’wat7úl)Nations, who have lived in the region since immemorial. Owned and operated by the Bridge River Indian Band, this heritage site is located just outside Lillooet, BC. Experience the culture and history of the St’at’imc People. Visitors will be guided along the traditional fishing grounds which are still in use today and a demonstration of how the St’at’imc wind dry their salmon catch.
